The exact domain name that you choose isn't the most important thing in the world but ideally it should have something to do with your idea or web site project. Some people think that picking a domain name with very particular key words will make or break the success of a website. That is a false belief. A popular site will get an enormous amount of traffic from Google and other search engines, and when searching for the website using a keyword via search engine and then clicking a resulted link you'll notice you've never had to memorize a domain name and full URL.

Having the search phrase keyword (ie cat) could help with search engine rankings but the domain name is a small part of it. The content of your website along with the popularity of the site will help perpetuate continued high search engine rankings for your site.

In the end, just pick a domain name you like and ideally the name should have some relationship to the website itself.
